Castle and park - St Martin de Pallières
Mentioned for the first time in 1256, transformed in the seventeenth century by descendants of Peter III de Laurens who laid the park, built the big tank and stables partly destroyed during the Revolution, the castle of SAINT-MARTIN DE PALLIERES was restored under Empire period and enlarged from 1862. Made on a plan square design with a tower at each corner, the castle retains primitive beautiful original vaulted rooms and a monumental kitchen. On the first floor, apartments were converted during the eighteenth century.
